Get Ready for the Halloween Home Run Derby!
What if one contribution could give a young athlete the chance to travel farther, compete at a higher level, discover what they're capable of—and know that someone believes in them?
Through the CHAMPS Sportsman Sponsorship Program, individuals, families, businesses, and community partners can invest directly in the development of an NRP Astros youth baseball player.
Your sponsorship helps remove financial barriers that can stand between a young athlete and an opportunity.
Because for many of our players, the cost of competitive baseball extends far beyond a registration fee.
There are tournament fees. Travel. Lodging. Meals. Uniforms. Equipment. Training. And, for out-of-state tournaments, the cost of safe adult supervision and chaperone travel.
Your support helps make those opportunities possible, but what you're really investing in is much bigger than baseball.
You're investing in a young person's confidence, discipline, education, leadership, character, and future.
At CHAMPS, we believe opportunity and responsibility go hand in hand.
When a community invests in a young athlete, that athlete should understand the value of the opportunity—and have the support and structure to make the most of it.
CHAMPS-supported athletes are expected to show up, work hard, treat others with respect, and grow on the field, in the classroom, at home, and in the community.

A CHAMPS scholarship isn't simply a way to pay for a tournament.
It's an investment in a young person's development.
We don't expect perfection. We expect effort, responsibility, communication, improvement, and growth.
We're not just helping athletes get there.
We're helping them become who they're capable of becoming.
CHAMPS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Sponsorship funds support CHAMPS charitable youth development and athletic programming and may be allocated among eligible program expenses rather than functioning as a personal payment directly to a player.
